2. Principle

Personal data are collected, stored and processed only to the extent permitted by law – with due regard to the required data security and to your rights of access and of objection to further use.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. When the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes technical access data (IP address, date and time, page accessed, volume of data transferred, browser type and operating system, referring page). These data serve solely the secure and stable operation of the website and are deleted after a short period. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in trouble-free operation).

4. Cookie-free audience measurement (Umami)

To improve the website, we use the analytics software Umami, which we operate ourselves on our server in Germany. Umami sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and creates no user profiles; it records anonymized metrics such as pages accessed, referral source, device type and country. No attribution to you as an individual is possible. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in audience measurement). Consent is not required due to the cookie-free, anonymous collection.

5. Fonts

The fonts used (Inter, Manrope) are loaded locally from our own server. No connection is established to servers of Google or other third-party providers.

6. Contact form, initial consultation and downloads

If you use the contact form, request an initial consultation or request a document, the data you enter (name, company, email address, phone, message or preferred appointment) are transmitted to us by email via our server. Sending is handled by the transactional email service ZeptoMail of Zoho Corporation B.V. (data centers in the EU). For download requests, you receive the link by email to the address provided. The data are not stored permanently on the web server; to prevent abuse, the IP address is processed briefly for rate limiting. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not use your address for newsletters without your separate consent.

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide in order to handle your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.

This website contains links to external websites (e.g. Amazon, publisher, partner institutions). The respective operators are solely responsible for their content and data processing.
